I'm in the mid atlantic area and want some tires to replace my stockers. We get all kinds of weather and I'm looking to go with one set vs. a summer and a winter set. The info on dry vs. wet vs. snow performance is out there, but I can't find much on what impact cold weather has on summer UHP tires. I pretty much can avoid driving in the snow (mostly to avoid the other idiots on the road) so I don't need any kind of snow performance out of the tire, but I don't want to lose significant grip due to the cold temps that we have 3 or 4 months out of the year.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

just get any decent set of all seasons. you will be fine! The rubber on the all seasons are strong enough for the summer and dont get too soft, and in the winter they dont get to stiff..
