I got my ETS 4" FMIC yesterday in black and gotta say it looks great. But I wanted your opinions on whether I should install it now or wait for spring? I live in northern Indiana and it snowed yesterday:wallbash: With the snow and cold weather I'm not sure if it'll do any good but at the same time, it's sitting in my house begging to be installed. What do you guys think?

I would wait for it, its cold so you're not really going to notice the difference plus spare it from the salt this winter

just wait... let your stocker take all the shitty roads n salt...
this makes sense...

however if you have the time to do it, do it.. .(from personal experience, I always run out of time, so if you have a window of opportunity you should take it..)

Install it. Either way it's going to hit a winter with snow and salt. Might as well do it sooner than later.

And it's better to find any issues now than in the spring...so if, say, it has a leak, bad weld, botched fitment, or something, easier/quicker to talk to ETS immediately than 6 months down the line.

Plus, you'll just stare at it all winter, wanting to install it...do iiiiit.

I definitely want to install it, but I feel like it might be better to wait until after this winter and save it from a snowy, salty winter. I'll wait and see how I feel next week after finals. And yeah, I have a garage.

I installed my 4" ets ic last week, and I live in milwaukee. It was about 30F out when I did it... Just wear long johns, a hoody, stocking cap and mechanics gloves, and you'll be just fine. And like somebody else said, it's going to see winter sooner or later.. No regrets here :D

So I decided I couldn't wait and I'm installing it now lol. But it seems like it doesn't fit right, it's touchng the condenser on the passenger side (the driver's side has very small amount of space but it's not touching). Is this ok?
