Its a darn Frankenstein exhaust, haha. It sounds great. I hardwired the box to my windshield wiper fuse. The remote is a fun little toy. Its nice being able to control the volume.

I just gotta put the stock mounts back on cause this thing is still on my bumper.

BTW there is an autox at the Rockland Boulders stadium this Sunday. The SCCA is also having an autox at the Meadowlands this Saturday so I'll get plenty of video between both events.

Yeah, I couldn't even install those TS exhaust mounts on the rear part of my exhaust because they made it too high. I installed only the one by the test pipe and after a few months of driving my exhaust hanger by the test pipe broke off of the car... I think the mounts look like a solid product, but I think more suitable to race applications only.

Very hard. I just tried to remove them and couldn't. Had a torch on it so long that the plastic started to melt and drip but it still didn't come off. The stock ones came off with a little heating and elbow grease. These things didn't budge after melting and using my whole body.
Having my back on the floor under the car might not be helping. If the car was on a lift where someone can get more leverage they might actually come off.

4/24/12 Correction: They are easier to take off when you actually remove the exhaust. I first tried removing them with the exhaust still intact. This past weekend I had more time so I unbolted the exhaust pipes and worked from the front most hanger back. Having the exhaust free to wiggle helps. You can't simply tug on these. You have to wiggle back and forth and do the tango. You still need a torch though.

Anyone have their diff or engine mounts? I'm thinking for getting these and wondering how tuff the instal is.
I do. Run them both and can't believe how important the cam and transmission side motor mounts are. A big difference and tightens everything up. I can't speak to vibration as it is a race car and so vibrates so much it's hard to tell.

The rear diff mounts help too, mostly in their reducing flex and movement when shifting power, down shifts, and on corner exit. Getting to power is faster, more abrupt and immediate. Again, for our application, a vey good thing.

How bad was the instal. I did my front and rear motor mounts and want to do the side motor mounts and the dif mounts. Can I do it with simple hand tools?

I just bought the solid rear diff bushings/mounts too....from the write up I read it's not too tough but getting the bushing out can be a PITA.

Didn't do the center rear diff bushing (yet), been messing w/ the down pipe and wrapping my manifold etc…the side ones were a cake walk!

anyone put the Shifter in a 2013 GSR yet? The description says from 08-12. Normally I wouldn't blink at it but the size of one of my cable ends was different than what I saw in the 08 pictures which just halted me during the TS delrin insert installs so just want to make sure before I purchase.

Just to follow up - the Short Shifter is AMAZING!!!.. I had the base bushings and Selector bushings already but it didn't make as much of an improvement as I was looking for. After installing the shifter and having it wear in a bit (probably more of me adjusting to the added effort) it goes into gear so much smoother. I used to have an issue getting into first which has almost been completely eliminated. At first the increased effort was a bit uncomfortable but after driving it for a few hundred miles I can't imagine going back. I don't have to think about switching gears as in the beginning and everything is all aligned as it should have felt from the factory. Very pleased with this product. Oh, and just a hint for getting those press clips off without a dremel - take a screw driver perpendicular to the edge of the disk and wack it. This will distort its seating enough to pop it off (eventually). Be careful of the metal at the base of the console beneath the A/C controls - sliced myself pretty good and got a few drops of blood on the carpet immediately after doing it.

Got my TS short shifter , base bushings , gate selector bushing and under hood bushings installed at AWD motorsports here in south fl. Shifts are short and direct . Gears are easy to find . Should be one of the first mods done on the evo x. No more row boat shifting. Cant wait to drive my evo more . Thank you TS and AWD

I really haven't read anything good about them in reviews. Everyone says they break exhaust hangers and bring the exhaust too close to the car. Have you experienced any of this?
