After taking a much needed long vacation from doing this kind of work, I have started to get back into the swing of things. First off, this triple 60/52 mm combo pillar I made for a customer just recently. Two 60 mm at top and 52 mm at the bottom in OEM color. Let me know what you think?

And customer was cool enough to send a picture installed with gauges installed, two 60 mm Defi's up top and Innovate wideband at the bottom(52 mm).

Welcome back, you have been missed.

Looks great! Not trying to be a hater, but how do your a-pillars compare (price/quality/OEM match) to the ones DSG is gonna be selling soon?

I honestly have no idea, didn't even know someone else was going to build them. But I can say Sean contacted me about a year ago about building him one and I didn't have time to get to his order and then I took a vacation for several months. So maybe they just decided to build them the same way I do? You would have to ask them.

I have been around for awhile and made 100s of gauge pod pillars for the evo X, most of the mods/admins/members here have an A-pillar made by me. So obviously I think highly of my product, BUT there is alot of customers that you can ask for an unbiased opinion.

They are custom molded and fitted to the stock interior pillar and build HOWEVER the customer wants. Molded with fiberglass, all hand laid and shaped. Approximately 15 hours worth of time in a triple pod like pictured above.

And fellas it feels good to be back and thanks for the comments, I know this customer loved it!!!!

wow i like this too... any ideas of price/production/timelines?
I am not a vender here yet so I can't discuss prices, but a simple google search to my website will tell you the prices and all info you could want to know.

yea is this a hint that you will star making them
Been making them for about 2 weeks now and I am in full swing again.

can u make me a custom 40mm and 88mm one for my speaker components? :)
Email me or PM and I can get you fixed up.

how much for triple pm me
Can't at the moment, but again google search my website/online store and you will see pricing. Thanks

AMI are custom built to your specs. AMI takes an OEM pillar and does it up. Fit is OEM!

We have the dual low mount with PLX Devices guages and it rocks.

DSG was stepping in because AMI left a void.

Choices arent a bad thing.

I know that AMI makes great a-pillars. I was going to buy one, but then found out that they weren't being made anymore. And yes, you are right, choices aren't a bad thing!

Better order one before he takes another vacation. ;)

I"m sure DSG will put out a nice piece. It will be interesting to see what and how many models they will offer. AMI will build whatever you want but then there is lead time. No instant gratification with AMI. I waited 2months plus but im glad i went this route. Also appreciate there were no other options at the time.

Since AMI is starting to produce these again, I have to chime in - I've had mine for almost a year now, and it's one of the best things I picked up for my car. Fitment is OEM (because it's an OEM pillar!) and it looks like it could've come with the car. Paint match is 100% and you can't ask for higher quality out of an A-pillar pod.
