Does anyone know whether or not having the turbo on the back side of the engine rather than in front will cause overheating problems? :tumbleweed:

No it won't change. My srt had a rear mounted turbo, and it wasn't covered nearly like the X is, and i ran it hard (had it glowing bright red several times), and i never had a problem. I wouldn't worry about it, just don't remove the heat shield.
Just wish it wasn't covered so much so i could show off the fire ball. ;)

Haven't heard of any problems with the turbos overheating. The middle scoop in the hood is functional and directs airflow over the turbo to keep it cool while moving.

Turbo overheating shouldn't be an issue with the ten the hood is very well designed to extract heat from the engine bay and the inlet at the rear is dedicated to providing fresh air to the turbo.

Second the car has an afterun feature that will kick in when three factors are met....

The car will sense air temperature (temp >118 degrees), coolant temperature(197-212 degrees), and whether the AC is on...if those three requirements are met the car will automatically remain on for 3 minutes after shut off.

I don't remember reading anything about the car remaining on when those requirements are met but, the owners manual does mention that one of the 2 electric fans mounted on the front of the engine bay will come on to provide extra cooling if the engine temp is too hot when you shut the car off.

Actually, I hadn't seen this written anywhere until now, but the other day I started the car to back it up in the driveway, and when i shut it off, the fan stayed on. Good to know that its supposed to do that, in some function. However, I doubt the water temp was that high, and I know the air temp wasn't up, but the ac may have been on. I started the car, turned it back off, and the fan went back to sleep.
So, we learned there is a cooling feature that is a tad glitchy.

Oh, and the hood thing is accurate, very good design. Fully functional
