Only a few people are using turbo timers. Its simply not needed. Spend the money elsewhere!!!

They are expensive, difficult to wire, and do relatively little. If you drive hard don't just turn it off, let it idle for 10 seconds. No need to go to the trouble with a water cooled turbo.

I recently traded my '09 gts for an '11 RA and was wonderin' if a turbo timer would be a good investment,or if it even needs one.
welcome to the club... i also traded in a GTS '09 for a Ralliart '09. I never looked back... i did have to put in some more ponies so the evo boys wouldn't look down on me so much tho haha

You can get a simple HKS type o for like $90 with a plug in play harness for another $15 takes like 5 min to install with that and you get a digital volt meter. I also find it convenient when I go into a store quick I can set a higher time and lock my car while it's running

do your research.. it depends on how you drive. check out ark simple turbo timer.. easy to install and very convenient and cheap.. you can set for 30 sec 1 min 3 min... also, if you have fast key is sucks to get in and out of your car. there are many pros and cons. i dont have time to sit in my car like a dumbass waiting for my car to cool a little bit more. it will take care of itself.

Thanks,I'll be checking the timers out then.I do have to put up with the hot socal desert summers(lucerne valley and barstow)so the timer might be quite beneficial.I do plan on getting a new bov, intercooler pipes etc and I do have the fast key.
