Just curious, but how do you think these will match up acceleration wise? stock for stock according to Car & Driver mag numbers, EVO X 0-60 is 5.0 whereas the 335i is 4.8.
I went a little further and found that the Vishnu chip brings the 335i to 390-400hp (i'm gonna make the assumption that this is to the wheels) on the protege v2 chip alone w/ 0-60 in 4.4sec. Since the 135i is gonna be 300lbs lighter, i'm gonna assume that the 135i is gonna perform much better. even beyond it's acceleration potential, its 50/50 weight distribution will make it handle damn well, making it one hell of a competitor to the evoX even though its gonna be a RWD.
I'm wondering how you guys think the EvoX will stand up to a chipped 335i (or a 135i). the Evo IX with the chip and passive boost solenoid emulator bring the car to 380hp (again i'm assuming to the wheels) and 0-60 in 3.9sec. and since Vishnu is stating that the EvoX is responding better than the EvoIX to mods in every category, i'm assuming that we can expect the EvoX to be closer to the 3.7-3.8s range, which is crazy fast.
But yea, back to subject. how do you think the EvoX chipped is gonna match up to the 135i chipped???
