Hi,

After many months of hard work and working in collaboration with sba (Sabin) we are now in the position to start testing and reflashing the Evo X ACD ecu.

We have done a lot of compatibility testing across the ecu’s, downloaded and reflashed without any problems and have completed a very good definition of the ecu, which is very Interesting (thanks to A for all his work)

The 2 cars that we will be testing on are an GSR FQ 300 manual tuned to 380bhp atf and an SST FQ 300 tuned to 420bhp atf, both cars are running AYC, we also have a JDM RS that we will be testing at a later date.

These 2 cars will be running in the MLRSS sprint championship in the UK which runs across 7 rounds on a vast combination of tracks, ranging from the very fast Stowe circuit at Silverstone and the Lotus test track at Hethel . On doing these tracks we hope to get some great feedback like we did with our E7-E9 ACD testing which ended in 2 overall class wins and 9 outright wins.

I will add car specs and pictures of the cars later on

I will update the thread as we make progress over the season our 1st outing is the 31st of March at Silverstone, so wish us luck !!

Cheers

Excellent.

Have you found any additional tables that control the AYC?

Awesome news! with this and the SST tables this has been a pretty exciting week for the community.
Yeah I was looking at this as well, I think we sorted the SST 1st gear limiter last year but that was a far as we wanted to go, but good to see other working on it.

Nice work fellas!
Cheers

sorry i don't know much about all this, but what are the implications?
What this means is better turn in and just an all round improvement on the way the car handles, or as some of the guys that have had there E7-9 maps the car now defies the law of physics

You can now change how/when the ACD locks/unlocks which basically translates to handling changes without shelling out for an entire diff swap to get to the desired behavior.

18 tables! I knew it had more than just steering angle and speed to determine pump pressure.

Is there any support you need from the community to keep things rolling Lee? Dyno time is not free.

As MRpottle said, this is a great week for Evo MR owners :D

I am wondering though, in those tables is there anything that can be changed for us cold weather guys so when it hits a certain temp, pump disables its self? A bunch of us in Canada and Northern States have been having issues once temps get extreme our pumps are crapping out and at $3,800 to replace (once warranty is off) is going to suck!!

I can't wait for the tuning ability to be released, but I would also LOVE a permanent fix to the cold weather issues on these pumps... (Different fluid perhaps?)
