If you saw the most recent episode of the US Top Gear, the guys deliver three supercars to "The Trump" for him to choose from. In the boardroom scene one of the guys makes a comment about Tanner being a "lonely race car driver" who doesn't have any passengers to carry. I know the show is quite scripted, but Donald fired back a comment that I found awkward. He asked if Tanner would be carrying a girlfriend or a boyfriend in the Porsche, implying that Tanner might be :ghey:. I've never found Donald Trump to be particularly funny, nor Top Gear America for that matter, but this line just seemed really irrelevant and out of place. It wasn't funny and didn't really add anything to the scene. It looked pretty awkward and Donald even looked a bit uncomfortable after saying it. It seemed kind of uncharacteristic for him. Did anyone else catch that? What did you think?
