maybe.
factory is 18 x 8.5 +38mm, soooooo the extra 2mm may or may not clear the caliper.

im sure the wheel would fit with the extra 2mm but im worried about the tires being 255/40/18 not sure if those will. currently im running this tire size on the stock enkei wheel with no rub on stock height

Some tires measure differently from another of the same size, but tend to fall within the target size.
You can fit 255/40r18 with no problem. Here is my car with 255/40r18 ,but with Rays Gramlights 18x9.5 +22.

The tire should fit fine. But I would be more concerned with the offset. +40 is even more "sunk in" that the stockers. You might need to have a spacer to clear everything.

why are you going with a wheel thats same size as stock? why not at the very least go 10" wide
