I am really looking to buy a 2008 evo x gsr and i cant find ANY. I live in NJ but im willing to take a road trip if i have to. Can you guys help me out with dealerships that sell 08 evos? or anywhere or anyone selling them? i already been to the for sale thread. Thanks!

Dealership is a good start. Then I would try eBay motors, autotrader, etc...

I personally would not buy a used Evo unless I either didn't give a shit about what was done to it and expected to fully rebuild it soon or I have only racing intentions for it...

Evo's are pretty much molested by teenagers or college kids for the most part...pick your Evo wisely.

They're pretty tough to come by surprisingly. Mine is pretty much sold (just waiting for a check) but it's been on Autotrader for a week, and I get about 2 calls per day on it. My dealership just sold an '08 in two days.

Prices on the 08 must be getting into more peoples comfort zone which increases the demand. I just looked mine up on KBB, still in the $25-27k range? Is that what they are still going for?

there were no evo x's on any dealers' lots (even new ones) in Louisiana when i was looking for mine. Drove to Dallas without even test-driving one to get it.

If you do decide to go used, which isn't as huge of a deal as some people might make it out to be, just make sure they allow you to take it to a trusted mechanic before you buy. Since you are in Jersey my suggestion would be to drive it to, or bribe, Dino to come with you and look at it. He would be able to tell you what/ if anything is wrong with it.

a year late lol but im selling my GST and trying to get an evo again soo i looked back to this thread.

Thanks bro, iv been keeping my eyes on this place for a while now, found some nice evos but im waiting for a wicked white evox.

Do you know if their online inventory leaves some evos out? I went there a few months ago and they had at least 10 there and online now theres like 3-4.

Try to see if you can find an Evo other than an '08...1st production models have more issues than their later ones

The day I bought mine they had sold 4 other X's before me that same day, and still had a dozen or so in the parking lot of almost every color
