I remeber test driving the first rotary engine when it came out on the rx7 i was only 17. I thought i was so cool. A porche club meeting was next door and iwas with a friend and his dad that owned 3 porsches. The Mazda guy was nice enough to let us drive the RX7 why his dad was driving all the cool new porsches.

I think I read its a 4 rotor. a newer version 4 rotor not the onld one that powered the 787B....it might be a 3 rotor also im not sure i haven't really been following that car.
