With Subaru Cash BACK... is anyone considering....
Purchasing an 08 Subaru Legacy Spec B in Canada?
with 7000 cash back and with 10% wiggle room on pricing... I expect you can pick up a Legacy Spec B for around 34k with Taxes, doc fees, PDI etc. You are looking at about $41,000 out the door.
I have a deposit on a EVO GSR and an MR. The Subie dealer expects the STI to be priced around $43-$45k and the Evo is expect to be around there as well.
So yes.. i'm giving up a bit of performance but gain a lot of luxury items. It seems like the new Evo X and STi are heading towards that direction anyways.
With the 10k in savings you could buy some really goodies for the Spec B and probably make it just as fast as the STI or EVO X with more luxury and Class.
Any thoughts???
I'm serious considering this root. Since I do 95% of my driving on the streets and will do 2-3 trackdays a year.
