Yup, plug and play. Easiest install i have done.

 

I also installed a set this past weekend, very easy install. It took me a while to take off my old lights though.. I chipped a tiny piece of my paint trying to pop it out Once you take one out, you'll know how to do the other one.. I can now swap out tails in 5-10 minutes lol

 

where do you buy the audi style one? and do they come with resistors?

LED "Audi Style" Tail Lights

I just installed a set of these tail lights last night. The red LED strips for the tail lights / break lights have load resistors built into the housing. The turn signals (7440) and the reverse lights (1156) both come with standard incandescent bulbs, so there is no need for additional load resistors unless you intend to upgrade them with LED's.

With these lights do you need to wire in a resistor?

I know on my truck I had to wire a resistor so the lights wouldn't flash fast like it had a bulb out.

 

If the blinkers are LED, yes you will need a resistor of some sort in-line with each "bulb" (both sides on the front and rear, four total)

 

Where are those pictures at? I'm definitely looking for tail lights and I'm torn between the last two shown on this forum.

 

I actually really like the stock lights on my 2010. Then again I prefer stock lights on most cars. Although the ones posted by Ghostfire are pretty cool.

 

I PM'd Sceme and Jcub regarding these taillights but have yet to receive a response.

I like the Mars. Do these LED's burn out easy? If they do, do you need to replace the whole light? Nice thing about OEM is you only replace the bulb when it goes bad

 

Did anyone end up tinting the Audi-style tails? About to grab some myself and plan on doing a tint, but wanted to see if anyone else had done so first.

 

Has anyone installed the LED lights with just the single bar (the ones that Ghostfire posted)?

I bought the LED "audi style" tails off ebay for 179.99. I'm getting the ASC light now. If you look at the pictures it has a big "pack" that comes out from the outside tail light. So i'm guessing I need to throw the 5w 60 resistor on the inside part that connects to the trunk? If anyone has done this please LMK.

 

Just FYI for anyone searching for answers, put the 5w60 resistor on the outter tail lights. Connect one end to green and one end to black wire for your running lights. Fixed this issue.
