I think you are confused a little

Evoscan is logging software.

Tephra V3 is a Flex-Fuel map switching enabled ROM + a logger + faster logging

and evoscan is logging software you will need evo scan in order to log the car no matter what you are using v1 v2 or v3

That is actually not true. Tephra V3 comes with logging software as well.

So would you recommend forgoing evoscan and just using Tephra? Or is evoscan the better logger?

Tephra logger is a little buggy as it's still beta but it still works pretty well.

That said. Evoscan is still my standby. I only use the Tephra logger if I am live tuning.
