I got the rexpeed ones awhile ago and wasn't impressed at all the with quality and threw them in the bin after only installing one. They looked and felt cheap, and the gold top's looked like crap.

I see tein versions are for sale on ebay, maybe I should try them, bit expensive though.

I got my coltspeed dampers from Driveline a couple months ago, works great. Very solid and heavy duty construction. Looks like it will outlast the car.

there is no doubt colt speeds are the best, I'm just not sure about price point on them just to hold up a hood. When I started this thread I wanted colt speed hands down but couldn't find them so I got some cheapies from evo-r. That being said they work great, I HATE the gold cap as mentioned here already, but other wise the CF is nice on them and they hold a hood, that is all they need to do

Has anyone ordered from them before? I like how they give the shipping price and everything right there, and their prices are good, but I have no idea on the wait time.

I ordered a few things from RHD. No complaints at all. Wait time isnt too bad. Maybe a little longer than normal but it comes from overseas so thats expected.

Hmmm. Maybe I'll just order it from them then. I also need the ARC 1.3 Type A radiator cap and the Blitz oil cap. They carry all 3.
