Hey guys, was thinking about installing the MAP catch can to kind of clean up the coolant reservoir area while also just having the benefit of a catch can installed. I heard in a few places that the due to the breather on the can and fitment location it causes a smell of oil to leak into the car, is this true and noticeable? I try googling this question but nothing turns up, I only see it every now and again in a few comments on videos and such.

Any vented catch can can cause an oil vapor or even fuel smell in the cabin. Only a can that recirculates back into the intake after condensing the oil vapor will prevent it. The more blowby or excess crankcase pressure you have, the more you'll smell it. The media inside and the filter on top prevent it making a mess of your engine bay but the super fine vapor can get sucked into the cabin.
The Radium solutions are recirculated if you don't want to deal with any smell.
