Here is the deal, I'm not sure if it's a dry carbon characteristic or what the industry does with dry carbon but the matte affect on wet carbon is due to sanding the clear coat. This looks like a sanding job gone wrong, obviously the consumer didn't do this, but in court it will be hard to prove who sanded it and what caused it... It's gonna be "he said vs. she said" ect. Unless there are others with this issue...and not general fitment issues but a finish issue with the dry carbon products.

it was resolved i guess, seibon cried uncle and did the right thing i assume, he's probably complying with them.

 

Under an agreement with SEIBON to delete all pix and anything else i can for them to REPLACE the part. Once the transaction is complete i will post a new thread about how they did replace the part under warranty. I will keep all up to date...
