There's still finalizing to do and some heat wrapping or shields, but it's coming along. We will have it all installed and on the dyno for testing soon!

I've had really good luck with just the DEI heat reflective tape keeping the heat off my plastic composite valve cover. The red engine cover might need a bit more to keep it from melting but ceramic coating the DP/headers and putting a DEI T3 Turbo blanket should absolutely make it fine. I also fabbed up a heat shield that deflects radiant heat from the cam sensor and a bit more of the DEI heat reflective tape seems hold up even for 30 minutes of road course driving with my full race manifold. Rear heat shield will probably also need a boost depending on what you are using it for.

The fabrication looks great and I can't wait to see what kind of numbers it will do. If you get to a T4 version that will work with the EFR7670 or similar I'm sure I would be interested.

Theres an answer to your problem Chris. It's called drop it off lol

We are not sure yet on the stock strut bar, but when we get a bit further along, we will let you guys know.

Just finished up a little fitting that will make everyone's lives a bit easier:

STM -10AN Aluminum Valve Cover Fitting.

This will remove the PCV Valve and will re-use the factory O-ring.

We are also working on a catch can design to put into production for this project, so we have all kinds of fun things coming out soon!

The Valve Cover Fitting is already available online in the Evo X Engine Oil System, and we have all the cool, colored Russell AN fittings and the lightweight, black ProClassic hose available as well if you're plumbing your own.

Catch Can is DONE! I'll have some installed photos up later, but this is ready to rock and available @ www.stmtuned.com!

The fittings and lines are a little different between the metal valve cover and the plastic ones, so make sure you're getting the right one if you're purchasing.

This will mount to the lower radiator support and has easy drain access. Includes everything to bolt on and install.

I have installed turbo kit photos coming up later today, then the mad scientist will tear it down, jig it up, price it out and we should have it available for purchase soon!

That's the standard un-polished finish. I'll update with a polished can soon also.

Priced at $450 unpolished, $500 polished + $6 shipping to the lower 48 states.

Find them here:

Alright, here's the first round of install! We will still wrap the downpipe with DEI header wrap, so yet even more photos will follow. Right now the guys will take it all apart, jig everything up for production... then we got along with the final details.

For now... enjoy!

And, MadBoostedEvo, it does indeed clear the strut bar.
