Why mess up something that works? LED always looks cheap, and they kinda are.

I have mixed feelings with them. Has anyone got a photo or seen an authentic varis & mars varis style tail lights side by side?

 

I have looked for such a pic. I can only see pictures from Mars. They are about 425 on eBay. Still on the wall about them.. the varis ones are about 600ish

1st pic up top is a borrowed pic from DSG performance aunthentic Varis tail lights. The rest are MARZ tail lights (both from my car). To be honest I see no difference. They look identical to me besides the price and Varis name.

 

I had the mars tailights. Varis bought from mars and just rebranded them. I've seen them both in person and they're identical.

 

Does anyone currently have the Mars tail lights? I want to see what company is branded onto the actual tail light housing to verify if this statement is true. Rather pay Mars pricing than Varis lol

 

I have the Varis reps. Look amazing and have had no issues with them for the 2 months they've been installed.

 

I just bought Varis tail lights and I'm very happy with them.
I wish I could find someone with Mars tail lights to do a comparison.

I've talked to one of Mars guys.

He told me tail lights are 100% same, as they are buying from same factory in Taiwan.

well, really you have nobody to blame but yourself without doing proper research

 

I'm not blaming anyone for this issue. I did my proper research before I bought these and nobody could confirm this at the time. I'm pretty sure Varis came out with these first, then Mars started using the same supplier later on.

 

Yeah the Varis and Mars ones look identical. I guess some people would still buy from Varis just because of the high end brand name ahha

got my varis tail lights install few weeks ago...love them!

 

think I might be switching over from the single LED tails to these. They look so sick on black and white cars.

Can anyone confirm the fitment on these aftermarket tail lights to the oem? Any gaps or fitment issues noticeable?

 

Mine fit perfectly to the OEM bumper, gaps tight n even. When I installed my Varis rear bumper different story... But that's the body panel, not the light.
