Think i could run the 93oct map? Im running the 91oct map tweaked by gunzo (before my tp/cbe) and i think im hitting the limiter also (cel comes on and wideband reads 16's while cruising, and goes back to normal once i turn the car off and back on again). Keep in mind that i believe the temp outside may have some kind of affect also, its been chilly/a little cold. Current mods are, tp, cbe, drop in, turbo inlet, uicp. I been taking it easy on the car and just want to flash something safe enough for the mean time before my tuning session this weekend.

^I am guessing your fuel trims are off. Basically once your ecu is learning everything your percents +/-are off for fuel. Get a custom tune.

Who is doing your tune this weekend?

Or you could always just disable the ltft affecting your WOT and see if that helps.

I was wondering before i flashed the car with the 93 oct map if it will work on my car, my rom id is 52680015, an i noticed this map is 0018, but it inherits 0015, will it still work or will it brick my ecu?

flashed the car about 2 weeks ago and its been running strong ever since...about to install an ETS intake/ UICP and rexpeed 02 DP with UR mini muffler testpipe...will i be good on this map still or should i wait til i can afford a tune as well?

I personally would keep the stock tune until I could log and or get a tune, AFR's are the big one to log. Just cause these maps can have some nice big boost spike, at least they did on my car. I was hitting 26 psi in the cold with no mods. I was running the base map.

Sorry for the noob question, I'm still getting the basics down. Can I use any of the ROMs from the OP as a starting point for my 2011 GSR with 56890013? I would think no, but I'd rather ask than assume.

No. You will have to use the 56890010 rom. The 56890013 rom isn't defined yet.

You can't just use any rom btw, the first 4 numbers of the new rom have to match your original Rom ID
Ok, thanks. Are there any cookie cutter 56890010 ROMs (like the ones in the OP) to use as a starting point or would I need to start from scratch with the stock 56890010 ROM?

Just ordered a Tactrix a few min ago. Cant wait till it comes in and I can start playing with it.

Hello everyone,

i'm working on a new generic base for a 2012 gsr based off of gunzo's generic base map. once i am done i will post it here.

the goal in mind is for a stock evo with a bit of clean up in the WOT ranges for timing and fuel to fix the knock and rich conditions.

the question i had is it okay to copy the JDM mivec tables from his base or has something changed in that regard? i'm hesitant because that map is for a 2008 and i dont know enough to start changing valve timing.

also while building the new high octane map i noticed the 2012 seems to run even more timing at idle (from 10 to 30!) and low load coast (from 40 to 44 degrees!):
