Hate to be the neighborhood Grinch, but I think it's a fine way to depreciate the performance of a perfectly good car. Forgetting about a silly thing like suspension geometry and concentrating solely on appearance, looking at the wheel/tire position relative to the arch of the fender, it's not even close to being centered. Yes, it's lower. Great.

So are you saying that the springs are a bad idea period, or they are a bad choice till a roll center kit is added?

Also, I just installed mine this weekend too. How many miles have you driven so far, and do you believe they have settled to their final ride hight? I've driven about 20 miles, including some speed bumps, but I kinda hope it settles a little more.

looks nice!! But I see the front bit higher than the rear.. I noitice this too when I install my H&R last friday the front is bit higher than the rear.. Is that normal on lowering spring?? Bec. The front got heavier load than the
Rear??

It is designed that way for a reason - most all lowering springs (if not all) manufacturers will have that same look. I've got the Tein S-tech on mine and it's a little higher on the front. You need more clearance for quick stops on the front end - there is a reason for this.

btw -- looking good! :shades:

I love the way "lowered" looks. My old VW used to scrape all the time. Not on purpose of course, but I had problems with my coil overs and didn't want to mess with them for fear of making it worse.

I think the EVO looks like it sits a little high, but I LOVE that I don't have to worry about it bottoming out.

nice planning on getting a ebach pro kit in the coming month...how the ride comfort???...is it a direct replacement?

I like it better than stock, but that is me though. I know by lowering my car I messed up the geometry of the suspension but for a guy who does not auto x I dont mind...

Yes it is a direct replacement, my buddy and I did it in 2.5 hrs. We couldn't get the rear springs to compress because we had the big spring compressor and they wouldn't fit inside the coils, so I had to take the rear to the shop.

Where in Fresno do you live, how long have you had your Evo? So far I've only seen two other Evo x besides mine :)

That sucks....mines perfectly fine, I'm still breaking in my springs have not got an alignment yet and my wheels are perfectly fine. There are no pulls whatsoever...

Maybe the person who did your drop bent your control arms >.<...only an opinion..i dunno :tumbleweed:
