Swift or Work Springs?

Looking to go with either Work or Swift springs. Primarily focusing on these two to keep the drop from being too massive; not a big fan of the slammed look, and even the Cobb kit seems to low to me. Personal preference, of course.

That being said, both the Work and Swift kits seem very... well, similar. Seems to be a difference of a few tenths of an inch, and the cost is a wash.

For what it's worth, I plan to add upgraded strut braces and sway bars as well.

So, what say you, forum?

I tried to make a poll, but evidently was not intelligent enough to figure that out.

Honestly you can't go wrong with either, the works do have a slightly lower drop then the swift. I have the works and I like them a lot, especially the fact that they keep the stock rake angle in the front. Also works = American swift = JDM if u care about that at all.

I have the Swifts, I am very happy with them. If I had to do it again, I would go with the Swifts as well. :)

Im planning on getting some coilovers, but if I decided to go with springs, I would get Swifts. Works is a great company as well, but I just know a lot more people with Swifts, and they have a great reputation.

Bumping an old thread, eh ;)?

I never did buy springs yet, but appreciate all the advice thus far. In all honesty, as much as I've been tracking the car (read: A lot), I'm probably going to end up going with KWv3 or the "RobiSpec" KWs. It'll still be a semi-DD car, but I have two other vehicles to drive in the snow and such.

through my own experience with springs if you don't want it that low, i'll go with the h&R because front and the rear hieight is even. i used to have swift and the front is way too high than the rear, no i've got the tein s tech's still high on the front but not as worse as the swifts....

how about GTWORX EVO X TARMAC SPORT SPRINGS.
Can we say we found a new spring against Swift.
GTWORX continues to break the mold of the typical aftermarket suspension manufacturer. Instead of focusing on looks and producing a spring that is too low and too soft like most other offerings, GTWORX chose to design a spring primarily to increase handling capabilities. This functional approach has taken off as real hardcore enthusiasts ask for a spring that actually improves overall grip and control of the chassis.

Utilizing a functional drop of 20mm and firm 300 lbs/in (3.4kg/mm) rates matched to the OEM dampers, the car maintains excellent suspension travel and geometry. Ride quality remains near OEM levels while handling is transformed to take the Mitsubishi Evolution X to the next level. The excellent power of the EVO X finally has a suspension that can keep up.

Wow, talk about bumping an old thread.

GT WORX springs are more performance oriented than Swift Sport springs and are comparable to Swift Spec R springs.

WORKS springs were discontinued, but were more comparable to Swift Sport springs at the time.
